Is there a doctor in the house?

What kind of healing do you need today?  Whatever it might be, I know an almighty Healer who can offer complete relief.  We all have events in our lives which have caused us inflictions, sickness, hurts, etc.  We carry these with us always.  These ailments have terrible side effects.  Some of these side effects can include insecurity, anger, fear, resentment, wall-building, and perhaps a broken spirit.  Some of us are hurting due to the results of imperfect parenting, unfaithfulness of a loved one, unfairness in a situation, disappointment in a friend, and the list continues.  This life exposes all of us to human nature.  Unfortunately, that can be a source of these illnesses.  This past Sunday in church a group of us became somewhat transparent in recognizing mistakes we all have made.  For me, I found the fact that we all have messy lives comforting.  Sound weird?  I know it does.  I struggle with people whose lives seem perfect.  I think our heartaches make us prettier people, if we will allow God to use those heartaches. The bad side of that is our messy lives impact the lives of those around us.  God wants to take away our sicknesses, heal our heartaches and transform us into His likeness.  If we can go to God, the mighty Physician we can experience a healed heart and a new spirit which can be the most beautiful picture of all.  Romans 8:28  "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."   2 Corinthians 12:10 "That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong. "

I have listed the credentials of my Healer:
v     He can override imperfect parenting, sooth any broken spirit & free any bound-up heart.
v     He heals us, restores us, and has good plans for us because He adores us.
v     He teaches us to forgive and gives us the grace to do so.
v     He enables us to rise above the harshest circumstances and to begin again & again.
v     He rewrites generations of brokenness to give us hope and a future with Jesus (I have seen this first hand).
v     He has written our names in the palm of His hands. Isaiah 49: 15-16
v     He stretched out His arms as He was nailed to a cross for us to cure us of our sin.
v     He knows our failures and shortcomings yet will never ever reject us.
v     He loves us & died unjustly for us.
v     He walked a journey of horrific agony – while being tormented for us.
v     He carried our cross, our death, our past and our sin.
v     He has supernatural arms to hold us.
v     He is with us when a situation threatens to overwhelm us.
v     He is with us when insecure and evil thoughts come knocking.
v     He will not reject us or forget us.
v     He made us and knows us.
v     He loves us.
v     He redeemed us!

Oh what a Healer!  Don't live with the pain of  life-induced sicknesses.  Come to the mighty Healer and enjoy a life free of heartaches -a life filled with peace, joy and daily healing.
